Fire Emblem Engage review 2024: exploring gameplay or storyline

Fire Emblem Engage turns out to be a decent, but ultimately quite forgettable entry in the series.

Fire Emblem Engage takes a step away from that focus on time management and training, which might surprise some people. There are still a lot of base activities and ways to hang out with your team, but Engage makes the smart choice to get back to the series’ roots by putting tactical fighting front and center. There’s a clear respect for Fire Emblems’ history in every part of the game, right down to the spirits of famous heroes from previous games that help your team.

Fire Emblem Engage: Description

Each time they’re used, they add strategic depth and an exciting visual flair to match. Its classic good vs evil story may not hit the same heights as its predecessor, but the Divine Dragon’s adventure still stands tall among its peers, both on its own merits and as a wonderful tribute to Fire Emblem’s legacy.

When Emblem Engage first said that the spirits of the heroes of past Fire Emblem games lived in twelve rings, we was a bit suspicious. From Marth to Ike, Celica to Byleth, and many more, these legends will give you advice, spar with you, and fight alongside you as you try to get all 12 rings and beat the big bad Fell Dragon, who wants to corrupt them for bad reasons.

This made me worry about how much of the heroes’ backstories I wouldn’t understand. Three of them are from games that were never officially released outside of Japan, and several more have only been seen on the GameBoy Advance or other old Nintendo systems, unless you count their appearances in Smash Bros. or the mobile gacha game Fire Emblem Heroes.

Fire Emblem Engage: Gameplay

Fire Emblem Engage review

Fire Emblem Engage is a fun and difficult game to play. To keep their troops alive, players must make strategic decisions on the battlefield and keep track of their resources. The players take turns moving their weapons and attacking the enemy. This is because the game is turn-based.

The fact that you can’t die in Fire Emblem Engage is one of the game’s most interesting parts. If a unit dies in fight, they are gone for good. This makes the game more difficult and real. This feature makes it so that players have to be careful with their choices and plan ahead before they move.

Fire Emblem Engage: Storyline

Fire Emblem Engage has a story that is deep and interesting. It takes place in the Middle Ages, when countries were always at war with each other. The player takes on the part of a lord or lady who must lead their army to victory and protect their land from invaders.

Through a number of cutscenes and conversations between characters, the story is told. The figures are well-made and have their own personalities and stories from the past. Players will start to care about their personalities and get interested in where they are going.

Graphics and Sound

The graphics and sounds in Fire Emblem Engage are amazing. The game’s art style is unique and reminds me of the Middle Ages. The designs for the characters are unique and full of detail, and the settings are beautiful and draw you in.

It has great music as well. The orchestral songs on the soundtrack go well with the medieval theme of the game. The sound effects are also done well, which makes the game feel more real.

Fire Emblem Engage: Multiplayer

Fire Emblem Engage review

There is an online mode in Fire Emblem Engage where players can fight against each other. This mode adds a new level of difficulty and fun to the game. Players can compete with other players to see how good they are and move up the ranks to become the best.

Final Words

Fire Emblem Engage is a game that any fan of strategy games should try at least once. It’s a must-play game because of how hard it is to play, how involved the story is, and how beautiful the images and sounds are. The fact that you can die more than once makes the game harder and more realistic, which makes it even more fun. The online mode is also a great addition that will make people want to play it again and again. Fire Emblem Engage is a great game if you want to test your skills and have a lot of fun at the same time.

FAQs

Can you marry in Fire Emblem?

To get characters to get married, you just have to pair them up on the battlefield over and over again to improve their relationship state. If they can, the characters will get married when their relationship status hits the “S” rank. After getting married, you can hire the children of the person you married.

Is Fire Emblem Engage too easy?

Since this is the only way to make the game easier, it’s better for fans of the RPG Fire Emblem Engage to understand that it’s too hard for them than that it’s too easy.
