28% Off on Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 laptop on Amazon

Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 laptop is on 28% Off on Amazon. It is available for $649.99 only. Lenovo is a gaming laptop with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Graphics. The laptop is mostly made of plastic and measures 14.16 x 10.49 x 0.86 inches (359.6 x 266.4 x 21.8 mm) and weighs 5.1 pounds. In comparison, Acer’s Nitro 5, MSI Sword 15, and HP Victus 15 weigh 5.51 pounds, 4.96 pounds, and 5.4 pounds, respectively, indicating that Lenovo’s laptop is light, but not the lightest.

If you’re concerned about durability, the chassis and lid have very little flex. The exterior of the IdeaPad Gaming 3 is made of plastic with an Onyx Gray finish. In the bottom right corner of the lid is a silver metallic plate with the Lenovo logo engraved inside. Lifting the lid reveals a simple deck with the same Lenovo logo in the same place at the right edge. The full keyboard spans nearly the entire length of the deck, leaving plenty of space for the num pad.

The trackpad is slightly off-center, resting slightly to the left, where a series of stickers can be found. One has a barcode and the word “eSupport” on it. It’s a little distracting, but it could be useful for some. When you flip the laptop over, you’ll notice a pattern of vents that alternate between hexagonal and hourglass shapes. The performance of Nvidia’s Ampere GPUs is heavily reliant on the adjusted TGP.

Lenovo chose a relatively high value for the IdeaPad Gaming 3, which improves benchmark results. 85 Watts is a lot of power for an RTX 3050 Ti. The 15-inch laptop performs admirably in the 3DMarks benchmarks. When all of the values are added together, the RTX 3050 Ti is nearly 25% faster than the current average of this graphics card. To some extent, this compensates for the fact that devices with the RTX 3060, which includes 6 GB VRAM rather than 4 GB, are already available in the 1000 Euro segment.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 is a good gaming laptop. Its AMD Ryzen CPU and NVIDIA dedicated GPU can deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p, but you should get 16GB of memory instead of 8GB, as the 8GB configuration will result in lower frame rates and frequent stutters. Fortunately, accessing the internals for upgrades is simple, so you can do it yourself later.

Its 120Hz screen provides a relatively clear image in fast-moving scenes.. If you want even smoother gameplay, there’s a 165Hz panel option available, but you’ll need an RTX 3060 to take advantage of it. The performance over time is excellent because there is only a small amount of thermal throttling on the CPU and none on the GPU, but the fans become quite loud under load.
