Get the Moto G Stylus 5G at 50% Discount on Amazon. The smartphone is available at $199.99 which is half of its original price of $399.99 . It is available in cosmic emerald color. The Moto G Stylus 5G is a tall and thin phone that can be held and texted with one hand. The phone’s shape exposes the top half, making it easier for a thief to snatch if you’re not paying attention. The G Stylus 5G has the same 6.8-inch, 1,080-by-2,400 pixel hole-punch display as its predecessor.
When I reviewed the G Stylus earlier this year, one of my major complaints was the display. There was noticeable pixelation and ghosting, as well as a low contrast ratio. The first unit was so bad that I asked for a replacement. But I’m beginning to wonder if they were both defective, because the G Stylus 5G’s display has none of those issues. Even in direct sunlight, the LCD panel is crisp and bright, with excellent viewing angles.
It was the ideal companion for a marathon Netflix binge while I was stuck in a hotel with bad cable. In addition to 5G connectivity, the Stylus 5G includes a larger battery, more storage and RAM (256GB and 6GB on the version) and a newer Snapdragon 480 processor. It’s fun to use the new stylus-friendly GIF creator mode. It’s good to have some fun! But it feels almost identical: the rear camera array is identical with the exception of a different macro sensor, the 6.8-inch screen is the same, and the overall dimensions are similar.
The Moto G Stylus 5G has four cameras: a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. While we’ve previously questioned the need for dedicated macro and depth cameras (especially on low-cost phones), they’re here because Motorola believes people want them. People are impressed by larger numbers, so Motorola’s decision to include four cameras as a selling point was probably a no-brainer, even if their utility is questionable at best.
With a 5,000-mAh battery inside, the phone easily lasted a few full days of heavy usage while keeping 120Hz on at all times. The Moto Stylus 5G is an excellent choice for a phone if you are looking for a device that is compatible with styluses and also has a camera setup that is adequate but not outstanding and an outstanding battery life. If, however, you do not require a digital pen that is integrated into your phone, then it is recommended that you either wait for Google’s Pixel 6a or choose one of the phones that are more cost-effective.
The Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G is such a niche device that comparing it to other devices is difficult. The G Stylus 5G is the most affordable 5G-capable phone with a stylus. LG used to compete in this space, but with its exit from the market, the Moto G Stylus 5G now stands alone in its niche. The same combination of features can be found in the $1,199 Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
