The highlight is the Bukit Kiara Park, one of the largest green spaces in the city. There are several trails, popular with mountain bikers, and hiking/trekking routes. The area is quite mountainous.

KL Butterfly Park

Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, located next to the Lake Gardens and KL Bird Park, is one of the largest butterfly parks in the world. It is spread over 80,000 square feet of gardens and is home to more than 5,000 butterflies, exotic plants, butterfly hosts and ferns. KL Bird Park has terracotta nature trails along which are scattered pots filled with fruit and flower petals. This park is also home to rhinoceros and scarf beetles and is full of waterfalls and many lakes with Japanese koi fish and freshwater turtles.

Taman Jaya Park

In the heart of Petaling Jaya, Taman Jaya Park is a great place to relax and unwind from the stress of everyday life. Park visitors can spend time jogging on one of the park’s paved trails, having a picnic with friends or family at one of the many picnic spots, or just enjoying the scenic view of the lake while the kids play on the playgrounds. . Although its location near the highway may put some off, the scenic views and tranquility of the park are sure to win you over once you get here.

Tun Abdul Razak Heritage Park

Tun Abdul Razak Heritage Park is one of our favorite parks in Kuala Lumpur due to its sheer size and interesting things to do in the park. As the name suggests, the park aims to preserve the heritage of Kuala Lumpur residents in an enjoyable way. This peaceful retreat is the largest park in the city and consists of many smaller theme parks, monuments and even museums. You can spend a day at the lake, taking a walk along the many beautiful trails enjoying the green nature. Or you can spend the day with your family in one of the largest bird parks in the world. The park was originally founded in the late 19th century.

And after more than a century it now covers more than 170 acres of paradise in the cultural heart of the city and is home to many tourist attractions and sites of historical importance. A great way to explore this lush park and its attractions is to hop on the lush trams that criss-cross the park. For a small nominal fee, you can board the tourist tram, take in the stunning views as you see all the park has to offer, and board the theme parks you want to explore further. Trams run from the tourist center to the KL City Gallery in Merdeka Square to the famous pond gardens, bird park and more.

KL Forest Ecological Park

KL Forest Eco Park is the only natural rainforest in the city of Kuala Lumpur. Since 1906, when the forest first appeared, successive governments have undertaken a series of development projects in the forest. This forest currently occupies an area of about 9 hectares and has numerous interconnected trails for jogging.

The forest is located right in the heart of the city. In addition to bringing very fresh air to the city center, it has also become a natural refuge for a number of birds and small mammals. Tourists often visit here for a brisk stroll or hike, or even a sweltering picnic. Conveniently, this forest is very close to other major tourist attractions, including the famous Kuala Lumpur Menara, which is actually visible from the forest.

The recently opened canopy walk adds another wonderful touch to this place. It is a very wonderful place to come in the early hours of the day to enjoy the forest in all its extension and tranquility. It is necessary for everyone who wants to know the green and the perfect beauty of nature.

Central Park

Desa Park City Central Park is a hotspot for dog owners who want to take their furry friends for a walk or jog. The dog-friendly residential park features 9-foot-wide tree-lined trails with loops ranging from 1 mile to 1.4 miles, accompanied by a picturesque lake, playground, and manicured lawns. Although it is much smaller than the other parks on this list, it is well worth a visit if you live close to the city or if you want to stop at The Waterfront for coffee or lunch afterwards.

TTDI Park

Surrounded by one of the wonderful hiking trails in KL, TTDI Park offers many loops from flat terrain around the lake to the more difficult naturally undulating trails. Wildlife abounds here with permanent herds of monkeys often foraging for treats and a pond that is home to countless turtles. The park is a stone’s throw from the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line of MRT Taman Tun Dr. Ismail.

Taman Tasik Titiwangsa

We’ll start with the positives. I feel like it has been recently updated. It’s a great park with clean trails for running and biking. Big early morning crowd at 8am with runners and bikers on their respective trails. Near the playground there is a water feature for children to play. The water features are functional, but I’m not sure if your kids can play in there. The parking lot was full when I visited at 7:30am. There is a restaurant, a badminton court and many other places to play with your scooter or rollerblades (although there are signs saying that rollerblades are not allowed, people still play) Unfortunately this park is very dirty.
