OnePlus Nord N20 5G
A stunning phone with an excellent price-to-performance ratio is the OnePlus Nord N20. It has a fantastic 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with vibrant colors and dark blacks. The Nord N20 is the most potent phone on this list thanks to the Snapdragon 695, which is a pretty quick small CPU.
The Nord N20 has excellent battery life, but the cameras are at best unimpressive. On our battery test, it lasted for 11 hours and 20 minutes. You could do much worse at $299 unlocked ($282 with T-Mobile/Metro by T-Mobile). On 5G networks with sub-6GHz, it functions.
TCL 20S
The smartphone has a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, among other specifications. The Vivo T2X has a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP sensor for cameras, respectively. There is a 16MP front camera for taking selfies.
Along with the 144Hz refresh rate display, the Vivo phone has a fairly sizable 6000mAh battery, which makes it a superb gaming phone. Additionally, the smartphone has NFC and enables 44W rapid charging.

But the grass looks greener on the other side because Redmi Note 10 Pro has an MIUI 12 UI which although it is known for constant updates, is still filled with a lot of bloatware.

A follow-up to last year’s Poco M3 Pro 5G, it’s got a huge 5,000mAh battery that promises to see you through the day, a big 6.6in FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a camera with a 50Mp wide, and an 8Mp ultrawide sensor, up to 6GB of memory, and up to 128GB of storage, and all for a very low price – starting at £229.
As the Poco M4 Pro 5G’s name implies, 5G connectivity is thrown in too, meaning you can enjoy a faster browsing and streaming experience, provided you have got a compatible SIM and requisite network coverage. All in all, the Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro 5G looks like an absolute budget bargain but what’s it actually like to use?
OnePlus Nord CE
With the launch of the OnePlus 9 series earlier this year, the company reached new heights in terms of its pricing, leaving many loyal fans disappointed and waiting for a return to the budget segment. Those prayers have now come true in the form of the new OnePlus Nord CE. It is said to stand for “Core Edition”, a reference to the fact that the device has been designed to retain the essence of the original OnePlus Nord, but at a lower price.
That makes it the brand’s most affordable smartphone in years, and one of the most affordable in Europe. Even with an affordable price tag, the OnePlus Nord CE still offers the classic OnePlus experience we’ve all come to love – a clean software interface that’s always responsive, a minimalist design with some personality, and adequate hardware to keep the phone running smoothly.
Realme GT Master Edition
The Realme GT Master Edition seems to offer everything you could want from a mid-range smartphone. It has a high-quality Super AMOLED display, a new processor, and a battery that charges from zero to 100 percent in about 35 minutes. It has slightly better hardware than the OnePlus Nord 2, so it could be an interesting alternative in the same price segment.
Then there’s the recently launched Motorola Edge 20, which is a few thousand rupees more expensive but offers much more in terms of hardware and near-standard software in a sleek and stylish package. The GT Master Edition is the cheapest of these three devices, but is that enough to beat it?
Motorola Moto G60s
Motorola introduces fast charging with over 30 watts in the affordable mid-range with the Moto G60s. The 5,000 mAh battery is equipped with in-house TurboPower50 charging technology, which is supposed to make long charging times a thing of the past. Motorola advertises a runtime of 12 hours after only 12 minutes of charging in this context.
In addition to the fast charging standard, the smartphone, which costs 270 Euros (MSRP), features a 6.8-inch Max Vision Full HD+ display with a high refresh rate of 120 Hz and a quad camera. Furthermore, the Moto G60s is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 processor, which is supported by 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal UFS storage.
Nokia G20
The Nokia G20 has a decent but practical design, is said to offer a battery life of 3 days and runs Android 11, which is as close to original as possible. On paper, it seems to be a good budget smartphone with a focus on build quality and trouble-free performance in everyday use. However, after using it for a week, we found that it didn’t live up to some of my expectations, which makes it pretty hard to recommend.
The design of this phone is a mix of what we saw in the Nokia 2.4 $118.57 (review) and Nokia 5.4 $163.20. It weighs 197 g and is 9.2 mm thick. The frame and back of the Nokia G20 are made of plastic, but it does not look or feel cheap. The back has a fine grooved texture that makes the phone feel good in the hand and gives it a high-quality character. Our test device had the Night finish, a dark blue color with a purple sheen that is visible at a certain angle.
