The icing on the cake is a small amount of vertical lens shift, which is rare in this price range and almost nonexistent in single-chip DLP projectors. This means that more homes will be able to hold the projector.
For the price, the BenQ HT2050A is one of the best projectors you can buy. Lens shift is rare in projectors in this price range, and even rarer in DLP projectors, so the fact that the HT2050A has it would be a big selling point even if it didn’t look as good as it does. Still, the lens shift isn’t a big deal. BenQ says that it makes a 10% change to the vertical range.

So, depending on where you put the projector, you’ll have a few inches of vertical leeway, but that’s it. Still, it does help and is better than getting nothing with most single-chip DLP projectors, which is what you usually get. The zoom range, on the other hand, is just average and falls behind the Epson. So you can’t put it as close to or as far away from the screen.
