A great wired gaming mouse is the Logitech G203 LIGHTSYNC. It feels very well made, and the time it takes to click is very short. It also has a large CPI range, and the set CPI can be changed in steps of 50. It’s not ideal for people with bigger hands who use a palm or claw grip, but everyone should be able to hold it comfortably with their fingers.
It has three separate lighting zones in a band that goes around the back and RGB lighting zones in the logo. The companion software lets you change a lot of settings and works with both Windows and macOS. The Logitech G203 Prodigy, which came before this mouse, has onboard memory, but this mouse doesn’t. The G203 is a small, wired mouse that’s only 4.59 x 2.45 x 1.5 inches.
Features:
- A comfortable design that resembles more expensive esports mice
- Sturdy and well-built
- The RGB lighting really pops
It’s well-made and sturdy, like you’d find in a more expensive gaming mouse. It looks like a lot of other esports mice, like the HyperX Pulsefire Haste, because it has a symmetrical, right-handed shape and six buttons in the same places. But even though the G203 has a familiar style, it doesn’t feel plain. Its main difference is that it has a rounded back that pushes up into the base of your palm.
This makes it fit palm grippers better than some gaming mice do. This means that you can control the pointer more precisely, so your wrist can do more on the screen with smaller movements. If you have a fingertip or claw grip, the small size of the G203’s body also works to your advantage. You can easily curl your hand over the mouse’s body or place your fingertips right on the trigger without having to stretch your palm or pull it up.
The G203’s right-handed button arrangement is also a good thing. It has two main clicks, two macros on the left side, a scroll wheel made of plastic in the middle, and a DPI preset button right behind it. Because the buttons are in the middle, they are easier to reach than on mice that are longer. The quality of the buttons is also great; all six can be programmed and feel quick and responsive when pressed.
There’s also a good amount of travel under the two main buttons, and they feel like they’ll click when you press them, which is great for jitter clicking. Logitech has added a few small touches that, given the G203’s low price, could have been left out. We are glad they weren’t, though, because they make the mouse more fun to use.
How to get Logitech G203 LIGHTSYNC gaming mouse?
One has a lot of glide skates on the bottom, including an extra sensor ring as well as the top and bottom skates that are required. Whether you use a mouse pad or not, these do a great job of making movement smooth and easy. The other nice feature is a long cord that lets you sit up to two arms’ lengths away from your PC or laptop without hitting the end of your leash.
