Deal on Razer Viper V2 Pro HyperSpeed Wireless Gaming Mouse for only $127

The Razer Viper V2 Pro is an ultralight wireless gaming mouse that continues Razer’s popular Viper line. It has the same symmetrical shape, but incorporates major design changes and improvements over the Razer Viper Ultimate. Razer significantly reduced the weight of this mouse; however, it achieved this in part by eliminating several features from previous generations, including side grips, RGB lighting, and ambidextrous controls. In addition to the weight changes, this mouse also has a new Razer Focus Pro 30K sensor and uses a new generation of optical switches.

Razer also indicates that it has improved battery life and wireless performance. The Razer Viper V2 Pro is a remarkable FPS gaming mouse. It is extremely lightweight and very sturdy. It has a symmetrical and comfortable shape and outstanding feet that glide smoothly over mousepads and desks. Performance-wise, it has an extremely wide CPI range, very low minimum lift-off distance, and exceptionally low click latency. The Razer Viper V2 Pro looks very similar to previous versions of this mouse, with a rather understated aesthetic with some aggressive angles. It is made of matte black plastic and features glossy black plastic accents.

Behind the scroll wheel is a small LED light that indicates the CPI setting in use. There is also a Razer logo on the palm rest, but unlike previous generations, there is no RGB lighting. Overall, the Razer Viper V2 Pro has a very comfortable symmetrical shape. It is also low-profile and has a fairly thin hump toward the center. The buttons are also well placed and the entire plastic body is slightly textured for added grip. Unlike most models in the Viper line, which are true ambidextrous mice with a pair of buttons on either side, this mouse has only the buttons on the left.

This mouse also lacks the rubber side grips found on the previous generation of Razer Viper Ultimate, although it comes with a set of adhesive grips. The low-profile design and length of the Razer Viper V2 Pro make it suitable for fingertip grip by almost any hand. However, if you have small hands, you may find the scroll wheel difficult to reach comfortably. The Razer Viper V2 Pro features a lightweight and flexible paracord-like charging cable that produces minimal resistance on the desk and does not tangle easily.

The Razer Viper V2 Pro has exceptional feet that glide with ease over hard and soft mousepads and directly on your desk. You can reprogram almost every button on the Razer Viper V2 Pro to perform a variety of actions, including profile switching, multimedia controls, Windows shortcuts, and keyboard functions. You can also set up a Hypershift button that allows a second level of button assignment. At the bottom of the mouse is an additional non-programmable button.

This button activates power when held down for three seconds and goes through five customizable CPI settings when pressed and released. The left and right click buttons use Razer’s new Gen-3 optical switches, which can guarantee 90 million clicks. The polling rate settings available on the Razer Viper V2 Pro are 125Hz, 500Hz and 1000Hz.

In addition to the standard sensor adjustment settings found on most gaming mice, this mouse also has a setting called “Asymmetric Cut-Off,” which allows you to independently configure the lift-off and landing distance to suit your playing style. Note that this mouse’s sensor can track glass surfaces, which is rare for mice with recently manufactured optical sensors. The mouse wheel is precise and has well-defined steps. It also has a rubberized texture to ensure grip and runs quietly, even at high speeds.
