  1. Press Win + I to open the Settings panel.
  2. Open the Apps tab in the left pane.
  3. Next, click on Apps & Features.
  4. Locate and click on Windows Subsystem for Android under App list.
  5. Click the three dots and select Uninstall. Click Uninstall again to confirm the action.

Enable Developer Mode in Windows 11

  1. To open the Settings app, press Win + I.
  2. On the left, click the Privacy and Security tab.
  3. Click on For Developers in the right pane.
  4. Set the Developer Mode switch to On by toggling it. To confirm the action, click “Yes.”

Enable Virtual Machine to Run Android Apps

  1. To open the search bar, press Win + S.
  2. Type Windows Features and then click Turn Windows features on or off in the list of search results.
  3. Select Virtual Machine Platform and Windows Hypervisor Platform in the Windows Features window.
  4. When you click OK, the changes will be saved, and Windows will install the features you chose. To use the changes, you need to restart your PC.

Setup and Install Windows Subsystem for Linux and Linux Distro on Windows 11

  1. Start Microsoft Store up.
  2. Look for Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) in the Microsoft Store and install the app. Wait until the app is downloaded.
  3. Then, look for a Linux distribution. We’ll use Ubuntu. So, look up Ubuntu and install the operating system. If you’ve already installed a Linux distribution, you can move on to the next step.
  4. Once the program is set up, press the Win key and type Ubuntu. Select Run as administrator by right-clicking on Ubuntu.
  5. You’ll need to make a Linux user with a password in the Ubuntu terminal. So, make an ID and a password. The Ubuntu terminal should be left open.

  1. Go to the MagiskOnWSALocal page on GitHub.
  2. Click the Code drop-down in the top right corne
  3. Copy the GitHub URL under the HTTPS tab.

Install Google Play Store on Windows 11

  1. Next, in the Into to MagiskOnWSA dialog, select OK.
  2. Next, select X64 X86_64 for Build Arch.
  3. Next, for WSA release type, select Retail Stable Channel.
  4. Select No in the Do you want to Root WSA dialog.
  5. Select Yes in the Do you want to install GApps dialog
  6. Select OpenGApps in the Which GApps do you want to install dialog.
  7. Next, in the Do you want to keep Amazon Appstore dialog, select Yes or No, depending on your requirement.
  8. Select No in the Do you want to compress the output dialog.
  9. MagiskOnWSALocal will start generating custom Windows subsystem for the Android image.
