Set parental control on Android via Family Link
install Family Link from the Google Play Store.
- Open Settings
- Tap Digital Wellbeing and parental controls
- Tap the right-hand arrow next to “Parental controls”
- Tap Get started
- Tap Child or teenager
- Tap Next and choose your child’s Google account, then complete the set-up. You’ll have to sign in to your parental account
- Read the information on the next page, input your password to link your accounts, and then click Agree to finalize the setup
- Click Allow.
To set a daily screen time limit:
- Open Family Link
- Under “Daily limit” tap Edit limits
- Toggle the slider next to “Not scheduled” and put in your parental account password
- You can toggle on a daily limit for each day by ticking the checkbox and adding a time limit (for example, 3 hours)
