How to set up and get started with the Reface app

  • Download Reface from the App Store (or Play Store) and launch it.
  • On the home page, tap Get Started.
  • Touch Take a selfie to open the camera or Upload from photos to select an image from the camera roll. For demonstration purposes, we have selected the second option.
  • Select an image from the gallery. Make sure the image only has one person. Photos with multiple faces will be rejected by the account system.
  • Tap Choose to complete.
  • Opens to the subscription plans page. A slideshow appears as a highlight to show a series of videos showing the applied transformation modeled on her face. To get access to all templates and features, you can choose to subscribe to weekly, monthly, or yearly plans, which include a 3-day free trial. However, you can also upgrade directly to the free plan.
  • To use the free plan, hit the close button at the top left of the page.
