Minecraft: How To Make a Water Breathing Potion

Minecraft: How To Make a Water Breathing Potion is one of the best-known sandbox games in the world and has been around for a long time. With more than 600 million people and billions of randomly made maps, Minecraft gives players a huge world to explore. But it’s hard to explore under the seas without a few Potions of Water Breathing.

Added by Russ Boswell on January 7, 2024: Minecraft keeps getting bigger, and its worlds keep getting new and interesting things, enemies, mobs, and even biomes. With the Caves and Cliffs Part 2 update, players can now discover fantastic new areas and even search through Lush Biomes, which usually have a lot of water in them.

The following list has been changed to help players find their way around these places, as well as the Ocean and other bodies of water. It now has even more information about Water Breathing Potions in Minecraft, as well as some other ways to get around using them.

How To Make a Water Breathing Potion in Minecraft

Look for Nether Wart

The Nether has a plant called “Nether wart.” To find nether wart, you’ll need to go to the Nether and find a Nether castle. Once you find the fortress, look in the halls and rooms of the fortress for the wart blocks.

Get rid of the Nether Wart

To get the nether wart, you need to break it up with a hammer or another tool. When the nether wart is broken, it will drop smaller nether warts that can be used to make potions.

Obtain Pufferfish

Pufferfish live in oceans, rivers, and other places where there is water. To catch them, you will need a fishing rod.

Make bottles for water

You’ll need to make water bottles once you have the pufferfish. To do this, put three glass bottles and three water buckets on the making grid. This will make three bottles of water.

Make the spell

Set the brewing stand on the ground and add blaze powder to make it work. Put the water bottles in the bottom slot and the nether wart on top to start the process of making. To make the water-breathing potion, put the pufferfish in the top spot when the brewing is done.

Use the Cure

Once the water-breathing potion has been made, it can be drunk. If you drink the medicine, you will be able to breathe underwater for three minutes.

What is a Potion of Water Breathing?

This drink, as the name suggests, lets you breathe underwater for a short time. Most of the time, the potion only works for three minutes. But if you add Redstone dust to the drink, you can make it last longer. In the same way, you can use certain things that we will talk about later in the tutorial to turn it into a splash potion. This drink is a great way to learn more about how Minecraft 1.18’s underwater world is made. And it’s easy to get the things you need to make it.
