Here’s a guide to the gear you’ll need to play Stadia, so you can get started streaming your favorite games right away.

Steps to Play Google Stadia on PC

  1. Ensure your PC meets the minimum system requirements.
  2. Create a Google account and sign up for Google Stadia.
  3. Connect a compatible controller to your PC or use a keyboard and mouse.
  4. Open Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox.
  5. Go to the Stadia website (stadia.google.com) and sign in.

What Stadia on PC doesn’t support right now

Stadia can watch in 4K, HDR, and 5.1 Surround on TVs with Chromecast Ultra. On a PC, you can only stream in 1080p until sometime in 2020. Stadia is missing some big features, but the PC version is missing some features that Chromecast and Android have. Here are the PC menu items you can’t use right now:
