ProofHub is web-based project management and collaboration software that helps teams and organizations streamline their work, improve their ability to work together, and more efficiently reach their project goals. It gives teams a central place to plan, organize, and carry out their projects, as well as a way to communicate and work together well. ProofHub has a lot of features that are meant to make project management easier. One of these is task management, which lets users create, assign, and keep track of tasks, set due dates, and check on their progress. The software also has interactive Gantt charts that let teams see how project schedules, dependencies, and critical paths work together.

ProofHub: Description

Teams can organize their tasks and workflows with ProofHub’s Kanban boards, which have a drag-and-drop interface. This makes it easier for teams to handle their work in a quick and flexible way. ProofHub also has tools for document collaboration, so team members can work on files together, give and receive feedback, and keep all project-related documents in one place. ProofHub’s time tracking features let users keep track of how much time they spend on tasks and projects. This makes it possible to better use resources and plan projects. The software also has a feature that lets you sync project deadlines and milestones with other calendars. This makes sure that everyone knows about important dates.

ProofHub is all about working together and talking to each other. The software has discussion forums where team members can talk about specific topics, share ideas, and talk about what’s new. Team members are kept up to date on project activity and changes through email notifications. This makes sure that everyone is on the same page. ProofHub: Usability

ProofHub review

ProofHub is a project management tool that is easy to use and has many features that help teams work together and manage their projects well. Its easy-to-use interface and design make it easy for people to find their way around and get started quickly. Task management is one of the most important parts of ProofHub’s usability. Users can create, assign, and track tasks with due dates and progress indicators, making sure that everyone is aware of their responsibilities and deadlines. Kanban boards show tasks visually, which makes it easy for teams to organize and prioritize their work by dragging and dropping cards.

The software also has Gantt charts, which let users see the timelines and dependencies of their projects. This feature is especially helpful for planning and keeping track of complicated projects because it lets teams find critical paths and make sure tasks are done on time. ProofHub’s document collaboration and file sharing features make it easy for people to work together. Team members can work on documents together in real time, making changes, adding comments, and keeping a central location for all files related to a project. This makes people more productive and gets rid of the need for multiple versions of the same document.

The customizable dashboards are another useful feature that makes the software easy to use. These dashboards let users customize their project overviews with widgets and reports that are most useful for their workflow. This gives teams the freedom to focus on the information that is most important to them, which makes them more efficient and helps them make better decisions.

Integrations and Reports

There are more integrations than just FreshBooks. You can also link your ProofHub account to Apple iCal, Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, Outlook, and Google Calendar. The list isn’t very long, though, and we’d like to see it get longer in the future. we liked that ProofHub reports had a lot of pictures. Admins can see a summary of all projects, including their status, how many are late, how many have been archived, and so on. You can also see how much of each project’s tasks have been checked off as done by looking at the progress bar.

A light resource report tells you how your people are doing and if they have too much to do, but it doesn’t give you a lot of information. You can’t, for example, easily find out when someone will be out of the office or give someone else their work. These kinds of features are often needed by large teams that work on dozens or even hundreds of projects at once. It’s also one of the things that sets LiquidPlanner and other high-end project management apps apart from those that are better for small businesses and small teams.

ProofHub: Security & Privacy

ProofHub’s website has a page about security that tells you what it does to keep you safe from cybercrime. However, it doesn’t tell us everything we’d like to know. Its privacy policy goes into more depth, and you don’t need a law degree to read and understand it. ProofHub says all the right things, like that it won’t give your information to anyone without a warrant and will let you know if someone asks for your information if it’s legal to do so. It basically says that it doesn’t do anything with your information that you wouldn’t expect.

It follows both the EU-U.S. privacy shield framework and the Swiss-U.S. privacy shield framework, and it has a dedicated email contact if you need to talk to someone about how your data is used. When you close your account, your information is taken off of their servers within 15 days. Our guide on how to protect your privacy has more information on how to keep your information safe. ProofHub uses SSL to keep data safe while in transit, but we don’t know what TLS version it has. It doesn’t encrypt data at rest. ProofHub doesn’t go into as much depth as we do in our article about encryption.

We discovered that the its.html export function created a file that enabled password-free file downloads from its server. Although we considered that to be kind, there must be a balance between convenience and safety. We could also shut down our browser and then reopen it without logging out first. It’s too bad that it doesn’t have two-factor authentication. Take a look at our article on what two-factor authentication is to find out why we like it.

In the app, user roles are modifiable. For a variety of things, you can define roles and permissions. It’s confusing that the default roles’ settings can’t be changed, but creating new roles and assigning them to people is simple. That’s a great way to keep track of how your team uses the platform.

ProofHub: Price

ProofHub review

The free plan, the Essential plan, and the Ultimate Control plan are the three options offered by ProofHub. On its website, ProofHub does not promote its free plan, but you can get one by emailing support@proofhub.com and requesting an account. For the paid plans, the company charges a flat monthly or yearly fee for as many account members as you want. A lot of other apps for managing projects charge you per person per month. You can try out the paid plans for free for 14 days.

The price of ProofHub Essential is $50 a month, or $540 a year. Again, you can add as many people to the account as you’d like. Up to 40 projects can be managed, and you get 15GB of storage space. This includes all the most important parts of the service, like tasks, project templates, time tracking, group chat, Gantt charts, and more. It doesn’t have a project manager role or project and resource reports. A few key admin features are also missing from the Essential account, like the ability to manage permissions through roles and view advanced activity logs.

The price of ProofHub Ultimate Control is $150 a month, or $1,620 a year. You get 100GB of storage, and you can work on as many projects as you want. The Ultimate Control plan has everything in the Essential plan plus project and resource reports, a project manager role, administrative controls, API access, advanced activity logs, a custom sign-in page, priority support, and more.

Final words

ProofHub is full of useful things. It’s easy to make tasks and lists, and it has a lot of different views and options. It has good tools for communicating, and sharing files isn’t bad either. It’s not the best when it comes to security, but it’s easy to use. It would be one of the best tools out there if it wasn’t hard to use in some ways. As it stands, it’s a good option, but it doesn’t stand out from the rest.

Still, it’s something to keep an eye on. With a few tweaks to the interface and faster response times in some places, it would be one of the best tools available. For now, you should still check it out, but you might also want to look at other options, like Monday.com.
