Samsung’s Galaxy A series contains some of the year’s most popular budget and midrange smartphones. While the Galaxy A50 and A70 series receive the most of plaudits, there are many other devices to consider. The Galaxy A32 5G is one such option due to its huge display, smooth refresh rate, and adaptable camera configuration. In our Samsung Galaxy A32 5G review, we will determine if the phone is worth the price. Samsung Galaxy A32 features a new design language that Samsung obtained in for its A-series smartphones.
The nicest feature of the Galaxy A32 is the back design, which features a sleek and clean aesthetic. Textures are archaic, whereas simplicity is modern. We never envisaged ourselves saying this in 2021. However, the design of the Galaxy A32’s matte-finished rear, devoid of any texture, dual-tone color scheme, or artwork, makes it appear modern. It is unique, novel, and unlike most smartphones. Additionally, the smartphone is reasonably easy to hold. Even one-handed surgeries appear to be feasible here.
Let’s begin with the smartphone’s most obvious feature: the display. Now, Samsung’s first smartphone in the series to feature a 90Hz AMOLED display is the Galaxy A32. The new information regarding the display ends there. The Galaxy A32 features a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with an Infinity-U notch that contains the front-facing camera.
The MediaTek Helio G80SoC drives the Samsung Galaxy A32. This is a respectable CPU with adequate performance.
The Galaxy A32 ships with One UI 3.1, which is based on Android 11. Samsung has also promised continuous software updates for this phone for three years. Samsung has endowed the Galaxy A32 with four cameras on the back. The primary 64MP camera takes 16MP pixel-binned images. In our evaluation, the image quality is acceptable, if not the best in its category. Other Samsung smartphones with 64MP sensors performed far better than this one. However, the dynamic range is adequate and the noise levels are effectively maintained in daylight.
Also acceptable from the primary sensor are colors and fine details. Samsung has loaded the mobile device with a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W quick charging. In our test, the smartphone lasted a full day with moderate use and had a significant amount of charge remaining for the next day. Even with intensive usage, the phone lasted the entire day. The 15W fast charging is somewhat sluggish and charges the smartphone in less than 2 hours.
