The Galaxy Book 2 Pro is a productivity machine that aims to deliver a balanced package of performance, battery life and design in a thin and light chassis.
The Galaxy Book 2 Pro is Samsung’s flagship traditional Windows laptop for 2022. It sits between the entry-level Galaxy Book 2 and Book 2 360 and the more premium Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360. The main difference between the Book 2 series and the Book 2 Pro series is the screen and processing power, while the 360 models have 2-in-1 form factors, touch screens for tablet mode input and S Pen support.
The 13-inch Galaxy Book 2 Pro comes with 256 or 512GB of onboard storage, with no expansion options. The 15-inch model, meanwhile, also starts with 256GB, but can be equipped with up to 1TB of storage, though you can also take advantage of a second SSD slot to add space later. Both models come with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM in the base configuration, but the 15-inch Galaxy Book 2 Pro is offered with 16GB of RAM.
In the Galaxy Book 2 Pro box, you’ll find the laptop, a 65W power adapter and a USB-C to USB-C cable. Samsung sells the Galaxy Book 2 Pro in most major markets like North America and Europe. There is also a 5G-capable model of the 15-inch Book 2 Pro, though it is only available in certain regions.
The overall aesthetic here hasn’t changed much since the first iteration of the Galaxy Book Pro, maintaining a certain level of sophisticated minimalism. This 15.6-inch AMOLED panel offers an exceptional 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 120 percent color volume, resulting in deep, dark blacks and vibrant colors. The maximum brightness is more than enough for outdoor use, provided there isn’t too much glare, and the thin border around the screen helps reduce the overall footprint of the laptop. Above the screen is a solid Full HD webcam.
