Since Malayalam cinema has undergone a renaissance in the last decade, after creating a number of innovative works with the influx of new young filmmakers, if measured by the quality of the films produced, it is without a doubt the first film industry in the India that has been. If the 2000s were the worst years for Malayalam movies, then the best period was of course the 1970s and 1980s, which witnessed the rise of the New Wave and the Middle Ages, respectively.
The selection of 25 great Malayalam films from the field where honorary directors like Priyadarshan have shot more than 60 Malayalam films (most of them classics) can be a puzzle for many Malayalam films. This list is an attempt to collect the best major and independent movies I’ve seen over the years. It is not arranged in any definite order; Instead, I have compiled the work of directors who have screened multiple films here.
Keep in mind that many directors have created multiple masterpieces, but I’ve done two for one director. The idea is to include as many great filmmakers on this list and get students interested in learning more about their work.

How the family weathered the storm that occurred during the murder investigation is the rest of the story, leading to an unexpected and deeply satisfying climax.
