How To Turn Off Subtitles On Your Samsung TV

How To Turn Off Subtitles On Your Samsung TV: Smart TVs have been made for everyone. Everyone loves to watch shows and movies on TV, whether they are young or old. The best thing about a lot of TVs, smart or not, is that they have special features to help people who are hard of hearing understand what’s going on in a video. Closed captions are what we’re talking about. You might think of them as subtitles.

Closed Captions are like subtitles, but they tell you more about what’s going on in the video. These are features that make your TV and even your cell phone easier to use. A lot of streaming apps, including YouTube, have this feature as well.

Closed Captions is a feature that comes with both streaming apps and TVs. Now, if you have a Samsung TV, you can use this guide to find out how to turn off closed captions on Samsung Smart TV and get more information about it.

How To Turn Off Subtitles On Your Samsung TV

  1. Access settings by using the directional pad of your remote.
  2. Once you are in settings, select general and go to the accessibility option.
  3. Under the accessibility menu, select the caption setting option.
  4. You will see three different caption options.
  5. Now, enable or disable the first option ‘caption‘ to turn on or turn off the captions.
  6. The second option, ‘caption mode,’ allows you to choose different languages (availability depends on the broadcast company or the availability of captions).
  7. Lastly, the third caption option ‘digital caption options‘ lets you change the font style, font size, and background color of the fonts.
  8. In some Samsung TVs, there is an additional option called ‘Separate closed caption.’ This option allows you to display captions on different areas of the screen according to your choice.

Best Samsung TV

Samsung S95B OLED

The best Samsung TV we’ve looked at is the S95B OLED. It is the first Samsung TV in many years to use an OLED panel. It combines the deep blacks of LG Display’s OLED technology with Samsung’s Quantum Dot technology, giving it a wider color range and brighter colors than traditional OLED TVs with LG Display panels.

Overall, it’s a great TV with great picture quality. Like most high-end Samsung TVs, it has a lot of extra features, such as the ability to support 4k @ 120Hz from new-generation consoles or a recent PC graphics card.

Samsung QN90B QLED

The Samsung QN90B QLED is the best upper-middle-range TV we’ve tested from Samsung. It’s Samsung’s best 4k LED TV for 2022, along with the Samsung QN95B QLED, which is basically the same TV with an external connection box.

It has an impressive Mini LED backlight that makes small highlights stand out and reduces blooming in dark scenes. It’s a great TV with a wide range of features, so everyone can find something they like. In a dark room, it’s not quite as good as the Samsung S95B OLED because there’s still some blooming around bright objects and the blacks aren’t as deep and inky as they could be.

Samsung Q80B QLED TV

The Samsung Q80B QLED TV may be the middle-of-the-road model in terms of features and price, but if you see and hear what it can do, you might think it’s a higher-end model. The Q80B TV is a great choice for your living room because it uses some of Samsung’s most cutting-edge technologies and has a lot of nice features.

That doesn’t mean the Q80B is trouble-free, though. Its picture isn’t perfect in every situation, and while the 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch models all have HDMI 2.1 ports, the 50-inch model (which we tested) doesn’t. This makes the set better for watching movies than for playing games.

FAQs

Why is my Samsung TV reading everything?

If your TV or projector is announcing everything you do, then the Voice Guide is turned on. Voice Guide is an accessibility function to assist users who are blind or have low vision.

Why can’t I turn off audio description?

How do I turn Audio Description off? Turning audio description on/off varies depending on your TV make and model; TVs have different remote controls and Settings menus. Usually the feature can be found in your TV’s Settings menu, under Accessibility. Some makes of TVs have a dedicated button on the remote control.
