How to Use Google Bard: (4 Easy Steps)

At the same time that new artificial intelligence (AI) tools were getting a lot of attention for their interesting ideas and cool features, Google’s own creation was getting attention for something completely different. In this article we will discuss about the How to Use Google Bard.

Google Bard is an AI chatbot that is meant to help people. It is a generative AI tool that can make things like cover letters, homework, computer code, Excel formulas, answers to questions, and detailed translations. Like ChatGPT, Bard uses AI to respond to user questions in a way that sounds like a person.

Bard’s performance, on the other hand, hasn’t always been up to par. Users have had a hard time getting the chatbot to give correct information or even keep up with a conversation without hallucinating since its terrible start.

How to Use Google Bard

  • Go to bard.google.com and now you should be immediately taken to the AI tool. If not, check you have been granted access.
  • Enter a question or search term into the search box and then hit enter.
Wait for the AI to respond.
  • You can then either continue the conversation
  • select Google It to use the traditional search engine.

What is Google Bard?

How to Use Google Bard

Like ChatGPT, Google Bard is an AI chatbot that can talk to you and make all kinds of text. You can ask it any question, and it will answer it as long as it doesn’t go against its rules. Bard is a much more powerful AI assistant than Google Assistant, even though it hasn’t officially taken its place.

Because it is based on Google’s own LLM (Large Language Model), also called LaMDA (Language Model for Dialogue Applications). Engineers at Google have trained LaMDA on hundreds of billions of parameters, just like OpenAI’s GPT-3.5, which is the model behind ChatGPT. This lets the AI “learn” natural language on its own.

LaMDA was first announced at Google I/O in 2021, but it never got out to the public because it was just a prototype. But as soon as ChatGPT came out in late 2022, Google moved quickly to make a LaMDA-powered chatbot that could compete.
