This Webcam comes with microphone so you can also use it for Calls/Conference, Zoom/Skype/YouTube, Laptop/Desktop. The eMeet C960 is a straightforward camera that records Full HD (1080p) video. This should be sufficient for software such as Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams, and so on, but it may be insufficient for anyone looking for something for vlogging or live-streaming advanced content.

We recommend dedicated vlogging cameras for that type of user. The dual, noise-reducing microphones on either side of the camera allow the eMeet webcam to function as a microphone as well as a webcam. Because of this feature, you won’t need to buy a separate microphone if you don’t already have one. It also means you won’t have to rely on your laptop’s low-quality built-in microphone. The eMeet C960 is a reasonably priced 30fps and 1080p webcam that looks a lot like the excellent Logitech C922 Pro.

Most video chats don’t require 60fps, and if there are bandwidth issues during the meeting, a slower frame rate can help. Some webcams even include software that allows the user to select the frame rate and resolution. A frame rate of 30fps is sufficient unless you’re juggling or doing exercises in front of the camera. The C960 webcam does not come with any software for configuring it, but it is plug-and-play on both Windows and Mac computers.

Simply connect the webcam’s USB cable to the host computer, and the video chat software should detect the presence of the webcam and its two built-in microphones. Because there is no companion software, the C960’s color balance and exposure cannot be adjusted. There is also no autofocus, but the focus is fixed at 5cm to 5m. A six-foot cable terminating in a USB jack connects this webcam to a computer. Connect the two with a powered USB hub, allowing us to turn off the camera when not in use.

After physically installing the webcam, Windows automatically loaded the required drivers. Products like the eMeet C960 provide excellent value for money for anyone looking for a simple, easy-to-use webcam. It has Full HD video quality, which should be sufficient for most video calls. Setting it up is simple, and the built-in tripod thread is useful for maximum versatility. Other than that, there are some drawbacks, such as the lack of a privacy cover, but for the price, the eMeet C960 is a good buy.
