What is Spotify

Like Apple Music, Spotify is a digital music streaming service that lets you listen to and watch millions of songs, podcasts, and videos from artists all over the world. Spotify is appealing right away because you can listen to free music as soon as you sign up with an email address or connect with Facebook. If you don’t want to pay for Spotify Premium every month or just want to try it out without making a commitment, it’s easy to get started.

If you use the Internet at all, you’ve probably heard of Spotify. It’s a popular paid and free music streaming service that now lets you watch videos, listen to podcasts, and make custom playlists. The best thing about this site is that you don’t have to pay a dime to listen to the newest songs.

With Spotify’s free version, you can listen to as much music, podcasts, and videos as you want without having to pay a lot of money. It does have paid options that are much better (more on that below), but the free version is enough for casual listeners.

Can I save Spotify offline?

Take your music and podcasts with you to places where you can’t get online. You can download albums, playlists, and podcasts if you pay for Premium. Only podcasts can be downloaded with the free version. You can put up to 10,000 songs on each of up to five different devices.

Why can’t I download songs on Spotify?

On the free version of Spotify’s app, you can’t download songs. Podcasts can be downloaded. If you want to download songs from Spotify, you need to be a paid member. But if you pay for a premium membership, you can save any song, album, or playlist to listen to when you’re not online.
