Today, we will demonstrate how to immediately add language packs to ISO images before setting up the computer’s operating system. Slipstreaming is the process of adding new updates or features to an existing Windows installation disc. You can update your current ISO images with the necessary language packs using this technique. It would be beneficial to be aware of the many language packs that Microsoft provides for Windows before you begin.

Install language pack when adding language

  • When you add a language, check Language Pack (if available) in the Install Language Features dialog box. (see screenshot below)

Install language pack in Language Options

  • Open Settings (Win+I).
  • Click/tap on Time & Language on the left side and click/tap on Language & Region on the right side. (see screenshot below)
  • Under Preferred Languages, click/tap the Options button (3 dots) for the language (for example, โ€œSpanish (Mexico)โ€) in which you want to install your language pack, and click/tap Language Options. (see screenshot below)
  • Click/tap the Download button for the language pack (if available). (see screenshot below)
  • The language pack will now be downloaded and installed for the selected language. (see screenshots below)
