  • Type in the following command and press Enter:

Reinstall Gaming Services

  • Open PowerShell as (admin)
  • When User Account Control shows up, click Yes
  • In the new window, copy and paste the following command, hitting Enter after:

Get-AppxPackage gamingservices -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers

  • Once the command is executed, run the following commands next:

Remove-Item -Path “HKLM:SystemCurrentControlSetServicesGamingServices” -recurseRemove-Item -Path “HKLM:SystemCurrentControlSetServicesGamingServicesNet” -recurse

  • Restart your computer
  • Open the Xbox app – a prompt would ask you to install Gaming Services
  • Press Install and follow on-screen instructions.
