How to Set Up iCloud Email and Calendar on Windows 11/10

After installing iCloud for Windows on my prior Windows computer, the available options included e-mail, a calendar, and a location to save documents. These options were presented to me when I signed into my iCloud account. On my laptop, which is running Windows 11, I cannot select that option when I install iCloud for Windows. It is not one of the possible alternatives. In its place, the iCloud for Windows application includes a notice that reads, “You can view these at iCloud.com.” This notice may be found at the very top of the application.

As a direct consequence of this, I am unable to synchronise Outlook with the calendar and contacts that are stored on my iPhone. There is nothing that I have been able to find on the internet that might possibly assist me with fixing this problem. This must be a possibility given the large number of those of us who want to connect Outlook with our iPhones.

FAQs

Is iCloud pop or IMAP?

iCloud Mail adheres to the IMAP and SMTP standards, which are supported by the vast majority of contemporary email client software. POP is not supported by iCloud Mail in any way. You won’t be able to see these options if you create an account with iCloud System Preferences or macOS Mail in version 10.7.4 or later because they are automatically setup in those cases.

Why is my iCloud for Windows 10 not syncing my calendar?

Be sure that every one of your devices has the same Apple ID to sign in to iCloud so that you can access all of your data. After that, check your iCloud settings to ensure that the Contacts, Calendars, and Reminders options are switched on. Make sure the date and time on your device are set correctly for where you are right now by checking these settings.

Is Windows 11 compatible with iCloud?

Yes. If you have iCloud for Windows installed, an iCloud Drive folder should appear in Windows Explorer. Within this drive, any files that you save will automatically be uploaded to iCloud.com as well as made available on your local computer.
