Check How to Use Snipping Tool in Windows Laptops

Snipping Tool is a tool created by Microsoft that was included with Windows Vista or later versions. It is a screen capture utility for workstations and PCs. This gadget helps take screenshots in the workspace in more ways than one. You can take screenshots in rectangular regions, a custom freestyle region, or a full screenshot. These “cut” screenshots can be modified with an inherent tool with multi-tone pens, an eraser, and a highlighter.

Then you can save the image on your PC in different arrangements. When taking a screenshot, it normally captures the entire screen in the work area, but there are times when we prefer not to show the other region except for important subtleties.

This is where the cropping widget created by Microsoft will help, allowing you to take screenshots of the ideal region. Also, you can modify and save it in various configurations.

How to use the snipping tool on Windows laptops

  • In the work area, press the Windows logo key + Shift + S.
  • The work area will be darkened and a region will be chosen for the screenshot.
  • The region will be chosen to look like a square shape by default; however, you can change the state of the area by choosing the accompanying options on the toolbar: rectangular mode, Windows mode, full screen mode, and free frame mode.
  • When you take a screenshot, a warning will appear and it will be replicated to your clipboard. Assuming you want to modify, you can do it with the implicit manager.
  • Now save the clip by selecting the Save Trim button and then the Save As box. Select the organization where you need to save the screenshot and it will be saved on your PC.

Use the snipping tool on a Mac laptop

  • On the screen, press Command + Shift + 3 or Command + Shift + 5. The former will allow you to take the screenshot of the entire screen, while the latter option will capture a selected region of the screen.
