Deal on Google Pixel 6a: save $111.08 and buy in just $337.92

When the Google Pixel 6a came out, it had a big job to do: reclaim the title of the best cheap phone to buy, especially for people who value great cameras more than anything else. It wasn’t easy for the cheap Pixel to win. Since the Google Pixel 5a came out at the end of last summer, both Apple and Samsung have released their own low-cost options: the iPhone SE (2022) from Apple and the Samsung Galaxy A53 from Samsung.

On the low end, OnePlus’s Nord phones are right on Google’s heels because they cost very little and have features that are good for the price. Since all of these phones are out at the same time, you don’t really have to pay flagship prices to get a good phone. The Pixel 6a goes up against these other strong competitors with the same Tensor chipset that Google’s Pixel 6 family uses, which could give it an edge.

Features:

  • Faster processor than other budget Android rivals
  • Clean Android, timely updates
  • Clean sound from loudspeakers
  • Flagship-class processor and performance

The Google Pixel 6a looks the same as its siblings, but there are a few changes, some of which are good and some of which are bad. This phone is small and light, which is a good thing. It measures 152.2 x 71.8 x 8.9mm and weighs only 179g. It fits easily in a pocket and is easy to use with one hand, not just compared to the other Pixel 6 phones but also to most other smartphones.

The camera bar on the back of the phone is much smaller than the one on the Pixel 6, so it doesn’t collect nearly as much dust as its sibling. The Pixel 6 has a plastic back instead of the glass backs of its siblings, which makes it feel a bit cheap. However, plastic is more durable than glass, so it’s not all bad.

How to buy Google Pixel 6a

The Pixel 6a is the first phone in Google’s a-series that doesn’t have a headphone jack. It does have a USB-C port, a volume rocker, and a power button, all of which are on the right side of the device. As with the other Pixel 6 phones, the fingerprint scanner is built into the screen, but it is much easier to use and faster than its predecessors. The phone is easy and quick to unlock.
