Wacom One Drawing Tablet in just $299.99 at Best Buy

The new Wacom One is intended to be an accessible and affordable new entry point. The Wacom One is user-friendly in terms of both look and compatibility with Windows, Mac, and Android devices. It excels in this regard by supporting a wide range of styluses in addition to the one it comes with.

The full HD or 1080p (1,920 by 1,080-pixel) resolution of the anti-glare screen is the same as that of the 15.6-inch Wacom Cintiq 16. Instead of VA, it makes use of advanced hyper-viewing angle (AHVA), a kind of the well-known in-plane switching (IPS) technology. The Wacom One, also known as the One from now on, measures 0.6 by 14.1 by 8.9 inches and weighs 2.2 pounds. It appears like a tablet but has substantial matte-black bezels.

A fabric loop holder for the pen and a USB-C port are located on the top edge. The tablet’s underside is white. Two fold-out legs that can support the monitor at a 19-degree angle are hidden by a black strip. Three spare nibs (tips) for the pen are stashed in a bay under one leg.

The Wacom One connects utilising a freshly created four-way adaptor known as the Wacom One X-Shape Cable and contains a USB-C connection. The other two cables end in an HDMI and a USB-A connector, respectively, for connecting to a computer, with the former receiving the signal to be shown and the latter controlling the pen operations. One of the four cords includes a USB Type-A plug that connects to an included 10-watt power outlet.

After registering your Wacom One, you have access to a suite of software that may be downloaded from the Wacom website. The package contains two free months of Adobe Premiere Rush, a programme for recording, editing, and sharing online films, six free months of Clip Studio Paint, a programme for painting and drawing, and the Bamboo Paper Pro Pack for taking notes and doodling. When Adobe Fresco, a painting and sketching programme made for touch and stylus devices, is released later in the year, users will also be able to obtain six free months of it.
