Two officers from Rocky Mount, Va., Were arrested Tuesday and charged in connection with the Capitol violation last week. The criminal complaint included a photo of Jacob Fracker, 27, and Thomas Robertson, 49, posing in front of a statue inside the Capitol after being stormed by a pro-Trump mob on January 6. The complaint also included Facebook Fracker’s comment, in which he said, “Lol to anyone who might be concerned about the photo of me going around … Sorry, I hate freedom?” Robertson told the Roanoke Times he didn’t think he and Fracker had done anything illegal. He said they had not participated in – nor seen any – violence. Fracker and Robertson are two of many cops and members of the military on leave who are being investigated for possible involvement in last week’s riot.
