CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Charlie Alegria’s father entered the seafood business in 1950 and started his own business in 1960. Alegria took over that business, Morgan St. Seafood, in 1997.
The company has been in Corpus Christi for more over 60 years old, but that has almost changed due to the pandemic.
“When the pandemic hit, everything went wrong. We lost business, restaurants closed, people were struggling, they were just doing take out orders, but it just wasn’t the same for the people we deal with, ”Alegria said. .
