In January, U.S. Representative Jack Bergman (R-Watersmeet) voted against certification of President Joe Biden’s victory, even after the attempted insurgency.
Representative Bergman was blunt when asked if he had any regrets.
“The short answer is no,” he said.

The 2020 election
In November, US Representative Jack Bergman (R-Watersmeet) was re-elected to a third term in the US House of Representatives with over 60% of the vote. But he was unable to break the tie with the Grand Traverse County Commission in February for a non-binding resolution.
He would have praised Rep. Bergman, but failed by a 3-3 vote. Voters like Richard Walter have called to ask lawmakers to step down.
“[Bergman] should not be praised and should not be honored by a frivolous resolution that does nothing to help this community, ”he said.
A few Bergman supporters have called for repeating baseless or denied allegations of voter fraud, including Heather Cerone, who ran for a seat at state headquarters last year.
“Congressman Bergman represents the majority of the population in our district. The election was fraudulent, ”she said in a public comment.
Bergman says he didn’t want to overturn election results, but wanted a federal commission to verify them.
“The people of Michigan and the people in my district wanted to know that when they voted, their vote was counted fairly, it was counted accurately, and if you weren’t supposed to vote, your vote was not counted,” …
