The Amazon Games crucible has been canceled. This news comes from a developer update that was just released. Earlier in 2020, Crucible was released on Steam with poor reviews and a low player count. The game was then brought back into closed beta.
In the update, the developers write that they’ve been evaluating the feedback over the past few weeks, which has led the team to this decision and that “… we’re going to halt development on Crucible. We really appreciate how our fans have rallied to our efforts, and we loved seeing your responses to the changes we’ve made over the past few months, but in the end, we don’t see a healthy and sustainable future until.
