THE HAGUE, Netherlands (AP) – An explosion shattered the windows of a coronavirus testing center in a small town north of Amsterdam early Wednesday, police mentionned. No one was hurt.
The police from the province of North Holland tweeted that “an explosive exploded” near the Bovenkarspel test center just before 7 am.
The police cordoned off the area, which is 60 kilometers (40 miles) north of Amsterdam, and was investigating the cause of the explosion.
In January, rioters torched a coronavirus testing facility in the fishing village of Urk on the first night of a nationwide 9:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. curfew imposed as part of the latest lockdown on the government against coronaviruses.
