Very little ROCK, Ark. (AP) – A lawsuit alleges Arkansas Attorney Basic Leslie Rutledge misuses her workplace to advertise her political aspirations and illegally employed taxpayer income.
The lawsuit submitted Friday in Pulaski County Circuit Courtroom in Minimal Rock alleges Rutledge overstepped her authority by supporting failed lawsuits trying to find to overturn presidential election success in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and media ads in which she discusses her office’s expert services.
“Rutledge … engaged in very partisan political activities as Lawyer Basic of the Condition of Arkansas in order to even more her political standing and to boost her own personalized political ambitions at the price of the taxpayers of Arkansas,” in accordance to the lawsuit.
Rutledge denies the allegations, contacting them politically inspired, said spokesperson Stephanie Sharp.
