Armed robberies reported at West Englewood businesses: police

The police South Side business owners are warning of a pair of armed robberies reported in recent weeks in West Englewood.

In both cases, the thief showed a handgun before taking the money, Chicago police mentionned.

The first theft was at 12:50 p.m. on January 26 in the 7300 block of South Ashland Avenue, while the other was at 2:23 p.m. on February 12 in the same block, police mentionned.

Anyone with information was asked to call Zone 1 detectives at 312-747-8382.
