BOSTON (AP / WHDH) – Gov. Charlie Baker is criticized by some health experts who warn his decision to ease coronavirus restrictions is too early and could lead to more misery on the road.

On Monday, the state began lifting some restrictions that have been in place for months, including removing capacity limits on restaurants as long as parties are 6 feet apart.
Dr Robert Horsburgh, professor of epidemiology at Boston University, said the state was reopening too quickly.
“The opening of these restaurants will prolong the epidemic and increase the number of Massachusetts residents who die,” he told the Boston Globe.
