Switch version not mentioned in the official announcement.
The often delayed Biomutant finally has a release date. It will be released on May 25 and will arrive on Xbox One, PS4 and PC according to the official Twitter Account. The Nintendo Switch isn’t mentioned, so it’s unclear whether it will arrive on the platform later (or not at all).
Announced in 2017, Biomutant is an “post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu fable RPG” set in an open world. When the Tree of Life begins to deteriorate, the player must venture to unite the different tribes. Of course, whether you save the world or end up doomed is up to you. The gameplay is a mix of third person shooter and melee combat with mutations added to the mix as well.
Mutations can also be used to alter one’s appearance and playstyle, providing powers such as levitation and telekinesis. Other features include a crafting system for various one- and two-handed weapons, rifles, shotguns, and even chainsaw mods and bionic wings. While currently slated for current generation consoles, Biomutant will also be playable on Xbox Series X / S and PS5. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
