In the early days of the pandemic, people were looking for things to do to keep busy and not think of the unknown.
For a local student, that meant learning how to bake macaroons.
He’s gotten pretty good at it. So good actually, he started a business.
If you’re looking for RJ Tare, there’s a good chance you’ll find him in the kitchen mixing up a batch of macaroons.
“Macaroons are those delicate French pastries. They’re like Oreos, but more sophisticated, ”Tare explained.
These whimsical little Oreos have become a bit of an obsession for Tare.
