Bollywood star Ajay Devgn and his son Yug were seen planting trees in the city on Saturday as part of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) campaign’s mega tree campaign. On why he brought his son along, Ajay said: “I can only try and set an example. I want everyone, including all the kids, to join the initiative. Things won’t change just because I am doing it.” I am doing it, they will change when everyone is involved. I can create awareness about it.” Ajay and Yug planted saplings in Juhu locality and watered them. While the actor was dressed in a black t-shirt, Yug was dressed in a casual white t-shirt and black pants. The actor urged people to start taking care of trees in every possible way. “So many trees have fallen and I would like to request everyone to join in. Just step outside your house and take care of the trees planted outside, water the trees and plant. If you get a chance, please do so. It will be great for the entire country, the world and the universe,” Ajay said. Actor Vatsal Sheth, and filmmaker Anusha Srinivasan Iyer were also part of the campaign among others.
