With this, BTS extended their record as the longest-running No. 1 debut by a group in Billboard chart history. He is not everything. ‘Butter’ is one of fewer than ten songs to spend their first six weeks at the top spot in music history. As reported by Chart Data, ‘Butter’ also peaked at number 1 on the digital song sales chart. The band recorded the biggest sales of the sixth week, reportedly higher than any other song this year.
Hitting another high, “Butter” continued to top Billboard’s Songs of the Summer 2021 chart this week.
K-pop stars are the only group after Aerosmith to spend several weeks at the top of the music charts.
