Well-Known Chef Floyd Cardoz Bombay canteen passed
in the United States due to the Novel Coronavirus. He died in New Jersey in the 59.
Journalist Rajdeep Sardesai told the news of Cardoz ‘ s
Demise on Twitter. He wrote, “Tragic news. Floyd Cardoz, known to the world
Chef with his own Restaurants in New York – Chez Floyd, then recently Bombay
Canteen, O Pedro and restaurants in Bombay and Goa has succumbed to the Corona
virus in New Jersey, RIP”.
Floyd Cardoz was tested positive for Covid-19 on March 19,
2020 and was hospitalized in New York with a viral fever.
Last week, Cardoz took to share his Instagram, the news
his illness. He posted a picture of himself in a hospital with the caption,
“Sincere apologies to all. I’m sorry for causing unnecessary panic to my
earlier post. I felt feverish and, therefore, as a precautionary measure
admitted me to the hospital in New York. I was very worried about my condition,
Health, and my post was highly irresponsible, panic in several
District. I returned to New York on the 8. March on Frankfurt.”

Kapoo mourned the death of Indian-born international chef.
Rishi Kapoor shared his
Condolences on Twitter. “RIP. Floyd Cardoz. To appreciate the meal that you made
us, in your restaurant “Paowala” on Spring Street. NY. And several times on
“Bombay canteen” (Phoenix Mills), and “O Pedro”(BKC) all in Mumbai,” he wrote.
Sonam Kapoor wrote, “RIP chef.”
Actor Rahul Bose tweeted: “Shocked
to hear the passing of @floydcardoz. Apart from the enjoyment of sterling meals
his several restaurants in New York & Bombay, he was a wonderful man –
always warm, friendly and fun. Each pandemic is more ominous, if you
those who have succumbed to know. RIP Floyd.”
Actor Tisca Chopra wrote: “So
sad. RIP Floyd.” Sophie Choudry by the name of Floyd, the demise of a “great loss for the
culinary world”. Chef Kunal Kapur, who is also known for the assessment of Masterchef
India, mourned the death of Floyd. “It is sad to share that the chef floyd
Cardozo. @floydcardoz is no more. He was an inspiration to many and I was
in the hope to cook with him for a few days.Fall #covid19 just goes to show that

Strength to all his loved ones.” Director Hansal Mehta wrote: “This is really
tragic is. Only a month ago, I’d re-created, a recipe from his book Flavorwala. It
was a stew, a meat-and it was stunning. What a loss.”
Floyd was recently seen
second season of the Netflix show Ugly Tasty, under the direction of chef Dave Chang.
Chang wrote, “I don’t want to believe this. People may not realize it, but
much of the food you eat today was influenced by Floyd as he is the cdc
Lespinasse at the end of the chef gray Kunz. The family tree the branches
the hall of fame kitchen changed gastronomy in America for the better. But how
a great chief, as Floyd was, he was to be a better person and amazing father. I
