On Sunday, when India was watching Janata Curfew, singer Dhvani Bhanushali quietly watched him turn 22 with a noble gesture. On her birthday she has Vaaste Donated to singer Rs 50,000 to the Indian film and television producer guild for day laborers, whose income was suspended due to the closure of the entertainment industry after the outbreak of the corona virus.
“As part of this industry, I saw what is going on behind the cameras. From spot boys to cameramen to those who prepare and serve the food, you work day and night so that we can do our best to keep the audience entertained. I felt very bad when I learned that due to the current situation, they have no earning potential. I wanted to do something special for them, ”said Dhvani.
She added: “When I heard about the contribution the Film & Television Producers Guild of India is making to day laborers, I decided, as a thank you for the tiny details of the camera, to record a small amount of my income for them. “
In a recent interview with IANS, Dhvani spoke about her Bollywood trip and her dream of becoming India’s “pop icon” one day.
“It is my dream to become India’s pop icon. This dream will come true through non-film songs. It also gives me the opportunity to participate in my own videos, and the song is associated with my face and name instead of being a voice for someone else’s face, ”Dhvani had said.
