Filmmaker Ekta Kapoor recently took to Twitter to announce that you are releasing from your one-year salary of Rs 2.5 crores to provide financial assistance to your employees in your company. While the country has a lockdown 21 days of the witnesses, confirmed by the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the world of entertainment has come to take a break and daily wage workers find it difficult to meet ends.

While some celebrities come forward and make their contribution, Ekta took to Twitter and wrote, “The only way in the future! #Staysafe stayhealthy”, as she shared a message. Your message read like “the effects of The corona-crisis is huge and unprecedented and ambiguous. We all have to do things to facilitate the needs of the people around us and in our country too big. Besides, she added, “I would give up my one year salary Rs 2.5 crore for Balaji Telefilms, so that my employees don’t have to be a hit during this time of crisis and complete lockdown”
