While it is still unclear who will direct the sequel, it is being speculated that Kangana will return to directing with Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda.
Earlier, she was embroiled in an ugly dispute with filmmaker Krish over the directorial credit for ‘Manikarnika’. While Krish accused Kangana of hijacking her project, the actress claimed that she had resumed half of the film as Krish left it. Perhaps unlike last time, Kangana will don the director’s hat since the sequel’s debut.
However, nothing is official yet, so all we can do right now is wait and see.
