B-town stars have taken to their social media handles to pay tribute to Indian sprinter Milkha Singh, who passed away on Friday. Now, ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ actor Farhan Akhtar has penned a heartfelt note for the Indian athlete on his Instagram handle. Sharing an old picture with Singh, Farhan wrote, “Dear Milkha ji, a part of me still refuses to believe that you are not. Maybe it’s the stubborn side that I inherited from you.. The side when he sets his mind on something, just never gives up. And the truth is that you will live forever. Because you were more than a big hearted, loving, warm, down to earth person. You represented an idea. You represented a dream. You (to use your words) represented how hard work, honesty and determination can propel a person to touch the skies by lifting them from their knees. You have touched the lives of all of us. For those who know you as a father and a friend, it was a blessing. For those who weren’t, as a constant source of inspiration and a reminder of humility in success. I love you with all my heart.”
