Mumbai: Kerala’s Aryananda Babu wins Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 2020.
Kerala girl Aryanand Babu Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs was declared the winner of 2020. She emerged as a winner by defeating her co-contestants, Ranita Banerjee and Gurkeerat Singh. Aryanand Babu took the coveted trophy and a cash prize of five lakh rupees.
Aryanand shared his feelings in an exclusive chat with Indianexpress.com. “I wasn’t really ready. Each of the finals was very good, and it was a tough competition. When my name was announced, I felt very happy and I cannot thank God for doing so. Coming from the south, I did not really expect to win the show on Zee TV.
As a spectator, we all know that Aryanand Babu does not speak or understand Hindi, but he overcame the hurdle and emerged as a winner. “Honestly, when I came for the final audition, I could not utter a single word of Hindi. I could not believe my luck when they selected me for this show. I worked hard and tried to learn as much as I could. Even though I could understand the language a bit, I can’t really speak it. Our Gurus and Gurus really helped me, and it was only because of their guidance that I was able to make my performance a success. However, it was very difficult to learn the song and we got the feelings and expressions for the song in that short period. “
Aryanand further said that she now wants to learn Hindi and wants to sing in Hindi. “I really want to be able to sing in every language. That is my goal, and I hope I can accomplish it, ”she added with a smile.
Aryanand Babu said that hard work won him the trophy. “I really worked hard for this. I remember that when the lockdown was announced, and the shoot had to be stopped, everyone went home. However, I moved back to Mumbai to train myself with my father. During this period, I practiced with him every day, and I feel that God was kind to grant me this trophy for all the things I was doing in my endeavor. “
Dedicating his big win to God and his parents, the young champion shared, “My father used to teach music at home, and I think I was interested in it from my early days. It was all very organic. When I was two and a half years old, I performed on the stage of the Shri Krishna temple. Music has always been my life, ”concluded Aryanand, who considers Lata Mangeshkar to be his role model.
