SEVENTEEN tops music charts with new album

Fans can’t stop congratulating South Korean pop band SEVENTEEN on their new achievement of performing exceptionally well on the music charts and spreading their wings around the world. With the release of their eighth mini-album, ‘Your Choice’, on June 18, the boy band sold over 89,000 copies in Japan and topped Oricon’s daily album charts. Astonishingly, it took the band only a day, nearly doubling the opening record of their first week, to stun the carat. However, it has broken the daily chart of the Hantio chart in Korea as well as the daily of QQ Music and several weekly bestselling music charts in China. While the title single, ‘Ready to Love’ made its way to top of the line music and AWA in Japan, it has also charted high on several major local music charts such as Genie, Mellon and Bugs. Caret flooded Twitter with good news and supported the boy band in celebrating their extraordinary achievement. As reported by Korean news agencies, Seventeen topped the iTunes Albums list in 18 countries as well as number 1 in the iTunes Top Songs ranking in at least 22 countries. Produced by Pledis Entertainment, Seventeen or SVT is a popular South Korean boy band consisting of 13 great artists. The group was formed in 2015 and recently celebrated its sixth anniversary. The band’s success is not limited to Korea, but it has developed a large fanbase internationally. The members are S.Koops, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyue, The8, Seungquan, Vernon and Dino.
