A few days ago, it has been reported that the actor Rana Daggubati has stepped out of the Ajay Devgn starrer Bhuj: The Pride of India citing the date and health problems. Now, the manufacturers have found a replacement actor Sharad Kelkar. The actor is appreciated for his portrayal of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the recent movie Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
Sharad Kelkar confirmed the news recently. He said that the film has a lot of action and Rana could take a couple of months to recover. He said that he and Abhishek Dudhaiya (director) know each other from their difficulty days.
Earlier, Sharad Kelkar had worked with Ajay Devgn in Milan Luthria’s film Baadshaho (2017) and prior to that, in 2008, in the TV show Rock-N-Roll familyas host and judge, respectively.
Sharad will be seen playing an army officer in the film. The actor said that as a child he always wanted to join the army. He is happy that he will now wear the uniform. Kelkar begins the shooting of the film in a week.
Earlier, Parineeti Chopra too had dropped out of the film, and has recently been replaced by Nora Fatehi. During this time, Bhuj has been set for release on Independence Day 2020. The Abhishek Dudhaiya director, also has Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Ammy Virk, in a key role.
