Shweta Bachchan Nanda, daughter of Megaar Amitabh Bachchan, who made her debut in creation with MxS in association with the designer Monisha Jaising, claims to have always loved fashion. His inaugural line collection echoes an insolent, preppy and playful sense, but also whimsical and glamorous.

Having similar tastes in basic aesthetics helped Shweta and Monisha. "We both like a certain image and when you have that kind of synchronicity, it's half the battle won. I like that Monisha is very easy, her clothes are never too hard, "Shweta told IANS in an email interview. With MxS, we meet together to think about new design ideas. I do not have the technical expertise of Monisha, so she brings some information – like what can and can not do some cut. But otherwise, when you collaborate on a design, it's 50-50. "

Monisha was also excited about the collaboration. "I have known Shweta for a very long time. In fact, when she was a girl, there was a white shirt that I made her and she looked exquisite. Since then, I've always followed his style. I am very happy to co-design a collection with her. "Shweta is very creative and filled with incredible ideas," said the designer, who finds their synergy "flawless".

Meanwhile, Shweta, the eldest of Big B's two children, says she's always loved fashion, bought and owned clothes. "Only when we did this fun thing for the 50th birthday of a close friend did I realize that it would be very fun to do something like this. I'm really happy … It's been such an education to work with Monisha, "she said.

For MxS, Shweta and Monisha both believe in consumer satisfaction. "I think in our two daily lives we end up wearing the same thing at work – tracks or sweatpants and t-shirts – often. We are two women who appreciate comfort and are transferred to what we wear. It is very convenient and comfortable. We will not have itchy fabrics that you will not be able to be yourself, "said Shweta, who also offered his father one of his hoodies designed by him.

She says her family has been extremely encouraging. "It would be impossible to have done this without each one of them; my parents, my brother, my sister-in-law, Nikhil (husband), Navya (daughter), Agastya (son), my sister-in-law Natasha and my mother-in-law. They encouraged me and supported me, "she said.

Monisha said that the collection is not street wear. "It's a luxury that is inspired by street style, resort and sportswear. We felt that there was a gap in the market for this category. If someone wanted to wear something special, there was no specific place to go to take something instantly. They will always have to choose between high street and super luxury brands. We wanted to give the customer something special for this event, a place to shop where he could shop without breaking the bank and look like a million dollars, "said the designer.

Shweta added, "Our first collection echoes a cheeky, preppy and playful sense, as well as something whimsical and glamorous. We wanted to design a fun and happy collection. When you get up in the morning, you want to be excited about dressing up and being part of our creative and curatorial work.

Rainbow striped sweatpants, luxurious sweatshirts with the word 'Airplane Mode' engraved on the front in the embroidery and a black leather skirt adorned with slogans in the graffiti. There are also casual items like an evil eye t-shirt, a hand-pleated metallic skirt, a crocheted long dress.

Monisha said she wanted to present options to the Indian woman. Thus, they created 52 styles that can be worn by people from 15 to 55 years old. "We have shirts that 15-year-olds can wear in a shirt dress, along with a 55-year-old woman with black pants. The goal is to encourage customers to use their own style techniques. When they look at it, they say "wow" and start thinking about how you can style it, said the designer.

The line will be sold retail at Monisha Jaising stores in Mumbai and Delhi, with prices ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 70,000.
