Earlier today, we came across reports that claimed that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had apparently reached a conclusion in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. These reports also said that the CBI is going to file a closure report in the death of the late actor.

However, the central agency has denied all these reports and termed them incorrect.

Commenting on the speculation of filing a closure report, the CBI told ANI, “The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is investigating the death of #SushantSinghRajput. There is some speculation in the media that the CBI has reached a conclusion. It may be reiterated that these reports are speculation and sic. “

Well, now that the agency has released an official statement, we hope that the speculation surrounding their report will come to an end. The ‘Kedarnath’ actor was found dead at his Bandra residence on 14 June. His death has since been investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

Recently, AIIMS in its report to CBI confirmed that Sushant died by suicide and rejected the theory of murder. The family of the late actor expressed disappointment in the conduct of AIIMS and wrote a letter to the CBI requesting the formation of a new forensic team.

Meanwhile, Sushant’s girlfriend Riya Chakraborty was recently granted bail in a narcotics case filed by NCB. Sushant’s employees Samuel Miranda and Deepesh Sawant were also granted bail. However, Riya’s brother Shovik Chakraborty remains in NCB custody.
