A major sports bar this week announced plans to open a location near the Golden 1 Center.
This marks a sign of optimism for downtown Sacramento after a year of challenges related to the pandemic.
Called Tom’s Watch Bar, the Denver-based company is known for its viewing rooms: 360-degree spaces with stadium seating and wall-to-wall TV screens. Sacramento will be its seventh location.
Although bars have been hit hard by the restrictions linked to the pandemic, one of the bar’s co-founders says he thinks people are eager to resume social outings.
